D. Jack Haycock is the principal attorney of the firm. Jack was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. Jack graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University law school in 1980 with a Juris Doctor degree. He passed the California Bar Exam on the first try in 1980. Jack is admitted to practice law in all California state courts, in all federal districts in California (Eastern, Northern, Central, and Southern), and before the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. For ten years he practiced in large and medium size law firms in Sacramento and has owned his own firm since 1990. He is actively involved in community service through his church, Boy Scouts, and other community endeavors. He is fluent in Spanish, having lived for two years in South America.
